We had a great time at Pensacola Pawdi Gras earlier this year! This is our 3rd year getting to be a part of this amazing event with WolfGang Pensacola! WolfGang Pensacola is a Dog Event Planner here in Florida; they organize and create fun and meaningful events for dogs and their families.
Wolfgang likes to come up with new ideas to make each year bigger and even more creative! The theme for this year was Bow Wow Luau, our team had a lot of fun creating a dog/family friendly photo area that had a wave replica so they could get on board and 'surf.' The event itself has various entertainment, tons of vendors, a pet fashion show with adoptable dogs, giveaways, pet parade, costume contest, and MORE!
The mission behind this Pawdi Gras event is to raise awareness and funds for the benefactor, which is a local pet shelter in our area, Escambia County Animal Welfare. They work tirelessly serving our community to ensure a safe and healthy for our citizens and animals! Unfortunately, just like everywhere else in our World, there is a high number of animals currently in shelters so through adoptions and fundraising like this one, it really makes a difference! As a result of this year’s event, we were able to help raise about $30,000 for Escambia County Animal Welfare! What an accomplishment! We look forward to 2025 Pensacola Pawdi Gras!
