ASPCA
Subaru is proud to partner with the ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®), the leading animal welfare organization in the North America, to help bring pets and people together.
For more than 143 years, the ASPCA has been dedicated to helping animals live better lives, whether it's rescuing animals from abuse, introducing and enforcing more humane legislation, sharing resources with shelters or making advances in veterinary medicine.
For the sixth year in a row, the ASPCA has been selected to participate in the Subaru "Share the Love" event. Since 2008, the ASPCA has received over $7 million from "Share the Love" and has been the #1 choice of consumers every year, reflecting the commitment that Subaru owners have to helping animals.
This year marks a pivotal turning point in the history of the campaign as Subaru of America has decided to double the total "Share the Love" charitable donation from $5 million to $10 million. ASPCA plans to award the majority of our "Share the Love" donation as grants to animal welfare organizations across the country.
The ASPCA will allocate a portion of our "Share the Love"
donation as shelter grants, to fund life-saving animal transports. A number of
these Subaru "Share the Love"/ASPCA Rescue Rides will take place throughout the
campaign in select markets across the country. Hundreds of dogs, cats, puppies
and kittens will be finding homes for the holidays Learn more at aspca.org.
Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Make-A-Wish is one of the world's leading children's charities, serving children in every community in the United States and its territories. With the help of generous donors and more than 25,000 volunteers, Make-A-Wish grants a wish every 38 minutes. It has granted more than 226,000 wishes since its inception in 1980; nearly 14,000 in 2012 alone.

Meals On Wheels Association of America
Meals On Wheels Association
of America provides national leadership to end senior hunger, supporting
local Meals On Wheels programs that collectively serve over one million
nutritious meals a day to seniors in need. Each donation helps deliver
nutritious meals and friendly visits to our nation's elderly teachers, workers,
doctors and veterans.
Thanks to Subaru of America, Meals On Wheels Association awarded $200,000 in "Share the Love" grants in 2012 to local Meals On Wheels programs that involved a Subaru dealership in their efforts to serve seniors. Local programs are using these funds to strengthen meal delivery services and purchase the food and equipment needed to meet the growing demand for services.
Subaru's donation also supports the Meals On Wheels Leadership Academy, a professional development center for individuals working in Senior Nutrition Programs. As part of the Academy and with funds from "Share the Love," the Association created the Subaru Institute for Leadership Development in 2009 to provide local Meals On Wheels organizations with ongoing leadership and management training opportunities. Seventy-four senior nutrition professionals have earned a Certificate in Leadership through the Academy and another 257 are enrolled in the program.
"I never realized that there were so many seniors in our area who needed help with meals. Helping to get the meals delivered has really opened my eyes. I want to get my whole family involved, including my children. It's important for them to see that there are people in need right where we live."
